Company History
Already in the early 1970’s trailblazing automation solutions for the production of disposable products made of nonwovens, film and paper have been developed and realized by Herbert Gawarecki.
The foundation of company GFM Maschinenbau GmbH (GFM = Gawarecki Folding Machines) in 1988 was the starting point for the international sale of his progressive and reliable machines. Many satisfied customers in Europe, the United States, Japan and Australia, among them the global players in the field of medical disposables, have been gained in the following years.
In August 2015 the company has been restructured by Wilhelm Alte GmbH, Plettenberg. Now called GFM Spezialmaschinenbau GmbH the company offers its well known products and services with the experienced team.
